Our Changeprint
Our Changeprint can be measured by the energy-saving measures adopted; money saved on fuel bills; carbon emissions reduced; and the wider health and wellness benefits for vulnerable residents who are able to live in warmer homes.
Our story
Energyworks provides free in-home visits for Greater Manchester residents who are classified as vulnerable or living in cold homes, and recommends small measures that will be beneficial to the homeowner in reducing their energy bills.
Our advice covers a wide range of support areas that include fuel debt advice, independent switching advice and tips on how to reduce damp, mould and condensation. A telephone service supported residents during lockdown.
Energy-saving measures can be fitted for free during the home visit where appropriate, such as LED lightbulbs; draft insulation around doors and windows; radiator foils; chimney balloons; power down devices; hot water cylinder covers; shower aerators.
In 2019/20, Energyworks visited 1,900 homes and identified £1,156,500 of savings on fuel bills.
